The town is charming with tree lined cobblestone streets, upscale boutiques, and restaurants that have attracted some of the most renowned chefs in the world. There are uncluttered, pristine beaches, bike trails that stretch the length of the island, rose covered cottages, and acres of protected conservation land. Nantucket is a tourist destination and summer colony. A playground for the Kennedy's of this world. But don't expect glitz & glamor.
